When using a pocket camera, lighting is everything. Unfortunately, it wasn't working so well for under-the-tree shots that morning.
I know what you mean - I have a Samsung NV3 (which is a pocket camera) and if I can't pull off the shot with the flash off, half of the time I'll abandon the idea and go photograph something else. -K
