LOL! No, I don't usually have a camera ready in the bath, but this has been happening for a few months so I finally remembered to grab one to document it.
I love cats, but am not at all anti-dog. They just require more routine than I can commit to. And I can't believe they would be nearly as interesting while bathing.
None from this group has gone in while I have been in the tub, though Puddin crawled over my shoulder to sit on my chest once when she was a bit smaller. However, we have had 5 dunkings while the water was draining - Frankie twice and Dolly three times. I don't know whether they are particularly slow learners, or just like the water. I have learned to have a couple of towels spread on the floor so that I can scoop them up to dry before they spread puddles through the house.
Yeah, I know I could close the door, but I figure it's all part of the socialization process for the littles. My bigs come in, take up a warm spot on the counter, and loll aound enjoying the spa-like atmosphere.
Hah! Close, CM. Actually #2,3,and 4 all have designs on the water, and it's #5 licking my toes. And #6 is in the upper left corner, moving toward the tub, and of course, you can't see the others on the counter and floor. It really was a crowd <g>.

did they bring the camera with them or do you always keep a camera within arms width when having a bath? :P haha, j/k
Cats are awesome, so funny sometimes, but I think I'd prefer a dog.

i choose the alternative of closing the door and having to endure 20 minutes worth of mewing and scratching at the door...

#1 is looking at you, #2 is drinking the water, #3 is watching #2, and #4 appears to be licking your toes. Funny pic!

That is amazing.
How many cats do you have?
-K
Fewer now than I did in this picture - the two white ones plus one more sib were adopted over the weekend.
You have to figure out how to submit this to icanhascheezburger.com.
Seriously funny.
Wow. They sure look awfully curious about something.
It's the water, silly <g>.
