Twofer

I wanted to see where I was on Breval, so I planned on shooting the exposition. Since it was going pretty well at the end of that, I kept going, only to crash and burn on the last set of bariolage and triplets. I'd stop watching before that, if I were you. But this is my blog, and I look forward to reviewing my progress in a year or two, so I'm posting it, imperfect though it is. Countdown to recital: 14 days. Yikes!

Bravo! I wish I could play it half that well. I like your grin during the fumbles. You've almost inspired me to work on that piece again.

Bravo from here, also.

I liked that your cat got up and stretched (at about 1:40), then lay back down on his shelf again to enjoy the rest of the piece.

Sounds like you're getting there. That's my favourite phase of learning a piece - getting it polished for performance and really learning the little corners of it.

Hey, Anonymous #1 was me, in case you didn't guess. Guess it didn't like my login? Weird.

And Anonymous #2 is Guanaco. Weird that the auto-email notification was properly addressed. I did the switchover to the beta-that-is-not-beta today, so hopefully the gremlins will leave my blog alone now.

Welcome to no-longer-Beta! It's not that much different over here.
