Stre-e-etch

One very fun thing about watching kittens grow up is observing the way they model the behaviors of the older cats. Seri started doing this only a month-or-so ago: a nice, big back-bending stretch, offered spontaneously when she sees me coming towards her. She's a smart little lady, and knows that if she offers me her belly in such a beguiling way I will almost always stop and give her a full body rub before I continue on.

But this is where she got the idea in the first place. Observe Aunt Cricket's lovely curve.

It's Tummy Tuesday. To see more of the (feline) sunny-side-up variety, visit LisaViolet's Diary.

Hi TorAa, thanks for visiting. It was fun to see the global cat-lovers community posting for Cats On Tuesday.

I like that Cricket has refined the stretch to do it precisely within the circumference of the round rug.

I'm pretty sure she knows it is there, as I've seen her match the curve on more than one occasion.

I was going to comment on how Cricket matches the curve of the rug. The test would be to get a different curve to see if the cats match the new circumference. Personally I'm ready for a good stretch and yawn myself.
